Use the Images entry field to attach photos to stock transactions or stock-taking counts in Mobile Inventory.

Quick path

Follow these steps

  1. Open the product and go to Add Transaction.
  2. In the Add Transaction tab, after Quantity, look for the +Add Image button.
  3. If you do not see it, tap +Add new field and add the Images transaction field.
  4. Tap +Add Image, then take a photo or choose one from the device.
  5. Review the attached image and save the transaction.
  6. Open the saved entry later if you need to verify the photo again.

Images are stored with the transaction

Use the Images entry field when the photo belongs to a specific stock movement or count, not to the product record itself.

Before you start

  • Make sure you have already added the Images custom field. If not, see Adding custom fields.
  • Allow camera or photo-library access when the device prompts you.

Written steps

  1. Open the product and go to Add Transaction.

What happens next

After the entry is saved, the image stays attached to that transaction and can be reviewed from the entry history.
