  1. Open the inventory and go to Custom fields.
  2. Add a new Product field and choose Barcode.
  3. Open a product, go to Details, and fill or scan the barcode value.
  4. Save the product and test the barcode from search or scanning flows.

Use the Barcode field when you want products to be found quickly by scanning or by barcode-based search workflows.

Before you start

  • Open an inventory where you can manage product fields.
  • Decide whether the barcode values will be scanned, typed, or imported.
