Customize the Product list so the fields your team checks most often are visible first. Android supports list and grid display modes. Web supports showing, hiding, and reordering table columns.

Android and Web use different controls

On Android, Change display changes the product row or card layout. On Web, Show/Hide/Reorder Columns controls the Products table columns. Both change only the list view; they do not edit product data.

Android display modes

ModeFields shown by default
Default listProduct name, SKU, Barcode, Stock, UoM, and a secondary right-side field. In stock-management inventories that field is usually Category; in stock-taking inventories it can be Variance.
Compact listProduct name, SKU, Stock, UoM, and the secondary right-side field. Barcode is hidden by default to keep rows shorter.
Image gridProduct cards with an image area plus Product name, Stock, SKU, and Barcode by default.
Custom listSix configurable slots: left center, left first, left second, right center, right first, and right second. Each slot can use a system field, a product custom field, or Select to leave it empty.

What is saved

On Android, Show images in the list and custom field-slot choices are saved for the selected inventory. The selected layout preset is also synced with your user settings when the account can sync settings.

Change the display on Android

  1. Open the inventory and go to the Product list.
  2. Open a product row menu and choose Change display. You can also open Menu > Settings > Product list > Change display layout.
  3. Choose Default list, Compact list, Image grid, or Custom list.
  4. If you choose Custom list or Image grid, select the fields you want in each slot.
  5. Turn Show images in the list on or off if images should change with the layout.
  6. Tap OK, then review the updated Product list.

Before and after

Change columns on Web

The Web Products page supports table-column customization instead of the Android list and grid presets.

  1. Open the Web app and go to Products.
  2. Select Show/Hide/Reorder Columns.
  3. Drag columns to change their order. Uncheck a column to hide it, or leave it checked to show it.
  4. Select save to apply the table layout.

Available columns depend on the inventory fields and can include SKU, barcode, Product name, Total stock, uom, Category, Transactions, Added, product custom fields, and Image.
