Export data from Stock management or Take stock when you need a spreadsheet, backup file, printable report, or file for another system. On Web, export from the Products or Transactions table.

Before you startCheck license, format, and any template requirements
  • For repeated or unlimited exports, use an account with an active PRO license, active trial, or available export credit. A new install may allow one manual export before licensing is required.
  • Use .xlsx unless another system specifically requires .csv or .xls.
  • If another system expects a fixed template, note the required sheets, fields, header names, order, filters, and sort order before exporting.
  • In the Web app, product rows and transaction rows export from separate table pages.

Export an inventory

  1. Open Inventories.
  2. Open the inventory menu and tap Export inventory.
  3. Optional: tap Export settings to change the format, sheets, fields, headers, sorting, or filters.
  4. Return to Export options and tap Export to file.
  5. Save or share the file from the device flow.

The available save and share options depend on the apps installed on the device.

What happens after Export to file

Mobile Inventory creates the spreadsheet and opens your device's save or share flow. The file name includes the export date, time, and inventory name.

Export from Web tables

  1. Open Products for the inventory you want to export.
  2. Use search, filters, or Show/Hide/Reorder Columns if you need a narrower file or a different column set.
  3. Click Export Excel, CSV, PDF, or Print.
  4. Open Transactions to export stock movement history.
  5. Use the same export buttons below the Transactions table.

Web exports are table exports

The Web app exports Products and Transactions as separate files from their table pages. Use the mobile export settings when you need one spreadsheet that contains both sheets.

What the export contains

A spreadsheet export can include product rows, transaction rows, and image references. On Web, product rows and transaction rows are exported from separate table pages.

Mobile share sheet
Send the file to email, cloud storage, messaging apps, or another installed app.
Browser download
On Web, Excel and CSV exports download through your browser. PDF and Print use the browser's report or print flow.
Local filesystem
Save the file directly on the device when you need offline access or manual transfer.
Print or PDF
Print the report or save it as a PDF.
Automatic Google Drive export
On Android, save recurring exports to a Mobile Inventory folder in Google Drive.
