Add a product from a camera scan on Android
If a barcode is not yet in the inventory, you can create the product from the camera scanner and record its first unit of stock.
- Open the Stock management inventory and scan the barcode with the camera.
- When the app reports that the product was not found, check the scanned code and confirm that you want to add it.
- Check that the barcode is already filled in on the new record. Enter the product name manually, for example, GU10 bulb, and tap Save. In this example, the product is saved with stock 0.
- Open Add transaction, select IN, enter 1, and tap Save.
- Open History to check the IN transaction for one unit, and confirm that the product's current stock is 1.
What happens next
After the entry is saved, the product stock and entry history update immediately according to the transaction type you recorded.
